2. My car had to be towed because the steering was out. Found out it was because a ground squirrel had set up a nest inside the engine, and got caught in the serpentine belt when the car was started. (!!!) So no costly repairs to a 17-year-old car, whew!
3. Tragic Notre Dame cathedral fire, but this 800 year old treasure of civilization was not totally destroyed.
