Serendipity

1.  Got a lot done with closet weeding, and an immediate trip to Doves to drop off donations
2.  Brisket simmering in the slow cooker all day, the house smells savory and inviting
3.  Attempted some paper-piecing, which is very confusing, and I persevered and got it going!
4.  Chatting with Stacey and Jessica -- everyone is well
5.  I'm actively choosing not to watch politics on TV
