1.  Hugs and tears with Chris F. today -- it was a special gift to see him! 
2.  A really lovely shopping experience this afternoon: heartwarming, just right, and DONE   
3.  The aroma of "gravy" (spaghetti sauce) simmering -- pasta is a Sunday rule at our house
